Thesis
William Wilberforce was a Christian politician whose Christian faith inspired him to campaign against the slave trade in Great Britain. He presented petitions to Parliament, formed anti-slavery groups, wrote books and pamphlets, made speeches, and tried to help improve the lives of freed slaves. Even after his death, politicians and reformers like Frederick Douglass and countless others are impacted by his work.
